Gentle, supportive movement for the perinatal journey.
Move · Play · Connect
Gentle, inclusive hoop-based movement classes for women in the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh. A welcoming space to reconnect with your body through play, breath and joyful exploration.
Move in a way that feels good for you.

Our philosophy
Embodied Hooping is a movement and wellbeing practice rooted in play, embodiment and accessible exercise. Sessions are designed to help you reconnect with your body — not as something to perform, but as a home to come back to.
You'll learn hooping skills and build gentle strength, but the deeper invitation is toward confidence, creativity, self-expression and the simple, restorative joy of moving for its own sake.

About the practice
Embodied Hooping is built on the belief that play is an essential part of human wellbeing — and that movement can be a powerful tool for physical health, confidence, connection and emotional wellbeing.
Classes are women-led, trauma-aware and designed for every body. Alongside in-person sessions, we share regular content on movement, embodiment and the importance of play throughout life.
